On the night of Saturday, March 24th 2018, the Philadelphia Brewing Company on Frankford Ave. hosted NUMiNOUSmag's Spring Art and Fashion Show, celebrating local artists and designers, models, and the launch of the Taboo issue.
Vendors for the spring fashion show included:

Black Room Photo- With an interest in the marriage of fashion and fetish, Black Room shoots often feature Victorian, Edwardian, and other period style pieces, bondage, pin-up, sci-fi, fantasy and just about everything in between.
FlukeLady Art- Colorful, vibrant ink and watercolor pieces with touches on sci-fi.
Vanessa Tejada- This artist’s Creature Rhythm brand is incredibly unique, with deliciously drawn food...but look closely. Things aren’t always as they appear.

Victor Rodriguez- photography specializing in portraits and fashion. Victor is another one of NUMiNOUSmag’s photographers-at-large, and photographed the upcoming cover and feature of the Culinary issue.

At 8pm, DJ Elijah Arms got the crowd moving with a continuous flow of high-energy songs. People made their way to the venue’s spacious top floor to chat up friends, peruse the artist vendors, and enjoy the unique brews that are always on hand at PBC. Humpty’s Dumplings was the food truck of the evening, a perfect choice for this particular event with delicious, handheld fried dumpling bites.
The fashion show itself featured three designers:
Kristin Costa- a fashion designer with experience in costume design, fine art, and performance. Her designs include knits, evening wear, unique prints. Kristin Costa showed her Magdalene series in this showcase.
Monsters and Lace- detailed, fantasy-esq costumes. This is the stuff of dreams and magic. The models portrayed a rainbow of creatures for the evening.
Justina Prince- elegant evening gowns detailed with rhinestones, lace, and tassels. Models were crowned with jewels and feathers.
Prior to the fashion show, Scarlett Storm and Pollyanna HighGloss of Thunder Snow Cone gave the audience an exhilarating taste of their circus sideshow burlesque act. Scarlett wowed in all pink clown attire and Pollyanna’s rain themed performance was flawless. Visit their website for upcoming events.
